Overview
Our client, a prominent player in the lending and financial services industry, is looking for a Commercial Director. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, drive business development, and manage sales effectively. The role requires a keen understanding of the lending market dynamics in Mexico and the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
Challenges you would face
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals to drive growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and market expansions
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed targets, ensuring their training and development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and external partners
- Conduct market research and analysis for creating detailed business plans
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives
- Contribute to product development based on market feedback and trends
- Provide detailed reports on commercial activities, revenue, and growth plans to upper management
The ideal candidate
- Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English
- Willing to work from the office
- Proven experience in a similar role within the lending or financial services industry (SOFOMES, Banks, SOFIPOS, FinTechs)
- Strong understanding of lending market dynamics in Mexico
- Capable of creating and leading high-performing teams of BDRs and AEs
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Hubspot CRM software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
