Overview
Our client, a prominent player in the software industry with a rich history of success. Operating across various industry segments globally, they are now seeking a Business Developer to join their team in Colombia and Chile.
Challenges you would face
- Identify acquisition targets aligning with internal criteria through online and offline channels
- Initiate and advance strategic relationships with founder-owners, management, and intermediaries via cold calls, online, and email channels
- Maintain and manage the M&A database, including adding new targets and logging activities
- Conduct product, market, and company research in collaboration with the corporate development team
- Screen and assess software acquisition targets in private and public markets, demonstrating mastery in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
The ideal candidate
- 2-4 years of progressive professional experience in high-volume sales, PE/VC business development, or financial/professional services
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
- Articulate communicator with the ability to engage in strategic, commercial discussions
- Intrinsic motivation, strong analytical skills, and a data-driven mindset
- Outcome-obsessed and activity-driven, excelling in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Self-directed with a relentless sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is a must
