Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the lead capture and communication technology sector, is seeking a Manager of Finance and Accounting. This position is integral to the company's success, overseeing key financial operations and driving continuous improvement in accounting practices. key financial operations and driving continuous improvement in accounting practices.

Challenges you would face

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, treasury/budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expense variance analysis, and check runs
  • Analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
  • Enforce proper US GAAP accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Oversee the annual budget, assisting functional leaders to adhere to their financial limits
  • Model financial impact of business changes such as sales comp plans and price variations
  • Track key financial and other metrics across the organization
  • Report monthly progress towards revenue and budget goals
  • Act as a vital member of the revenue team, reporting directly to the COO

The ideal candidate

  • 7+ years of proven accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Advanced skills in accounting software (Quickbooks preferred) and proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets
  • Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Coachability
  • MBA in finance or a related field
