Overview
Our client is in search of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to play a crucial role in shaping the company's technology strategy. The CTO will lead the technological implementation and management to meet established business goals. This involves organizing, executing, and overseeing projects, setting policies and procedures for software and hardware development and maintenance to ensure efficient and cost-effective implementation.
Challenges you would face
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify technology optimization opportunities
- Evaluate and select optimal technologies for clients, ensuring alignment with company guidelines
- Ensure minimum security criteria in project development
- Provide technical expertise in client meetings and validate commercial proposals for technology use and planning
- Assess client business models to deliver superior solutions and support clients in identifying needs
- Monitor overall project status and participate in projects requiring involvement
- Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical team members
- Conduct technical screenings and interviews for technology positions within the team
- Provide ongoing feedback to the team and offer strategic technical assistance within the organization
- Attend organizational meetings and activities
The ideal candidate
- Extensive experience in software engineering, architecture, and development, with a strong grasp of modern development frameworks, cloud-based solutions, and APIs
- Proven leadership and management of technical teams, driving innovation and successful project execution
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for startup environments, able to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced settings
- Deep knowledge of current and emerging technologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan and coordinate complex projects
