A leading travel tech company, renowned for its innovative and personalized travel experience, is seeking a Business Development Manager. This role is vital for the company's expansion, focusing on building and nurturing professional relationships with vacation rental companies and affiliates in the travel industry, including BnBs, Web Affiliates, OTAs, and Airlines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, managing the sales cycle, and increasing the partnership network to generate revenue and improve profitability.

Challenges you would face

  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the travel and technology sectors
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead handling to negotiating and closing commercial agreements
  • Proactively target and approach potential partners in the travel industry
  • Execute cost-effective strategies for lead generation
  • Generate new leads through email and auto-email sequences
  • Prepare and present marketing and sales materials to showcase partner benefits
  • Conduct effective face-to-face and online demos for outbound and inbound prospects
  • Manage partner retention and act as the primary point of contact for partners, resolving account management issues
  • Streamline processes for efficient partner onboarding and monitor partner performance
  • Maintain updated CRM records and prepare reports on account status and partner performance
  • Analyze product usage, gather partner feedback, and communicate internally for product enhancements
  • Stay informed about industry trends and participate in relevant seminars, conferences, and events
  • Collaborate with various teams to align strategies and enhance partner offerings

The ideal candidate

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales and negotiation within the travel and/or technology (SaaS) industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven capability to drive sales processes from planning to closure
  • Advanced interpersonal skills for effectively building, developing, and managing relationships with partners
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to analyze sales data and compile comprehensive reports
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • A friendly and upbeat personality
  • Digital fluency in web and digital technologies

  • Familiarity with or experience in the travel & hospitality industry
  • Additional language skills beyond English
