A leading technology firm specializing in cloud solutions and services is seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in technology sales and account management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in new business sales, a deep understanding of cloud solutions, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles and post-sales activities. This role involves managing the entire sales process, identifying business opportunities, and building long-term strategic partnerships with clients.

Challenges you would face

  • Manage the sales process from start to finish, engaging the right resources and utilizing experience in selling solutions to meet client needs
  • Strengthen customer relationships through regular engagements and meetings
  • Participate in industry events to generate market interest
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling solutions within assigned accounts or vertical markets
  • Maintain a long-term perspective to maximize global revenue generation while achieving short-term results
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure quota achievement within the designated sector

The ideal candidate

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology sales and account management
  • Demonstrated success in direct new business sales, consistently meeting revenue targets
  • Experience across the entire sales and post-sales cycle
  • Proven ability to manage and close complex sales cycles
  • Proficiency in cloud technology, preferably with prior training in AWS cloud technology

Plus

  • Back Office/Accounting experience in a capital fund, pension fund, trust company, or trading desk
